Real-time Documentation Directly on a Mobile Device

DOCit is a mobile app that gives care staff immediate access to the information and forms they need to document and communicate with their team on their mobile device. No more looking for binders or forms to complete – everything is “at their fingertips”. This saves a tremendous amount of time and allows care staff to spend more time with their residents. Some homes are reporting savings of 23 minutes per PSW and 1 hour per RPN per 8-hour shift! Since care staff document in real time and don’t wait until the end of their shift, documentation is extremely accurate and team members get alerted immediately if escalation needs arise. Integrated with PointClickCare

Bidirectional data exchange between DOCit and PointClickCare. Forms completed in DOCit such as BSO-DOS assessments, COVID Screeners, Head Injury Routine forms, etc, can be pushed to PointClickCare. Activity in PointClickCare can be configured to trigger tasks in DOCit. For example, when Falls information is entered in PointClickCare, DOCit can automatically start a Head Injury Routine. Integrated user login: Users can log in to DOCit using their PointClickCare username and password (instead of managing separate DOCit user accounts/passwords). Real-time data synchronization: Resident data entered in PointClickCare is immediately updated in DOCit.

Real-time Alerts and Notifications

DOCit makes intelligent use of the documentation being captured and sends alerts to relevant staff of risk-related concerns or escalation requests. This feature alone dramatically reduces the risk of issues not being addressed in a timely manner. This feature also simplifies the job of Registered staff attending to important care concerns.

Automated Task Reminders

DOCit gently reminds care staff of upcoming and missed tasks, thus reducing the dependency on care staff remembering to do things for specific residents at specific times. This is especially beneficial when temporary staff are onboarded who may not know the home area routines or resident routines.
